Protection advisers concerned about lack of FCA support
40% of advisers feel let down by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and feel that they have no support when it comes to selling protection products. A further 69% also felt let down by the regulators predecessor, the Financial Services Authority.
Whilst the majority of advisers blame the banks for the PPI mis-selling scandal, 17% of advisers thought that the FSA were responsible and should have taken action sooner.
